Welcome visitor. We at Victus Media would like to take this opportunity to explain a little about the IMM.
Personalized information tool:
Project your desires out into the web by accessing the power of the intelligent media manager. The tool “listens” to your public social data and obeys your fundamental interests by guessing what you’re interested in. At it’s heart the IMM performs implicit processing of social statuses (user controlled/edited tag landing page).
Here are a just a few ways to utilize the IMM:
- self behavior reflection to look inward, or Social Gravity to extend your perception outwards and easily discover other users who share your interests
- rapid list compression, review what entire lists are talking about at a glance (we’re working on optimizing this functionality for real time, huge lists may take some time)
- view trending links related to topics that you show interest in. Never miss popular real time trending articles related to your interests
There’s plenty more that we’re working on now. One example is s-Tag label your friends interests with a separate social identified list. We have integrated Twitter but seek to broaden input to Facebook/Buzz after we find a good fit with the application/interface.
In order to experience our humble interface, please visit http://imm.victusmedia.com/
Easy web site ad:
Simple dynamic ad widget which shares 90% affiliate revenue with the host, and 10% to the business.
Try out the semantic advertiser in the sidebar by entering yours or a friends twitter ID
Thus far Zemanta and Orchestr8 (AlchemyAPI) are providing the semantic power, and the social feed is coming from twitter, but expect the input feeds to expand shortly.
In order to see more information about the plugin, please visit http://imm.victusmedia.com/site to register your email address as a host. Once you are setup there, you can embed the plugin on any site using the following iframe code.
Insert the following snippet into a text widget on the side of your wordpress blog, or in any site that allows iframes (mycoolidnumber is your Amazon affiliate ID):
<iframe width=”100%” height=”600″ src=”http://imm.victusmedia.com?type=caro&email=you@you.com&?associate=mycoolidnumber” frameborder=0></iframe>
or if you don’t have an Amazon affiliate account (note: you won’t generate any affiliate sales then):
<iframe width=”100%” height=”600″ src=”http://imm.victusmedia.com?type=caro&email=you@you.com” frameborder=0></iframe>
Background Info For IMM:
Take a look at the image to get a feel for the early concept of connecting social media and status (original concept). Ideas were exchanged and a longer term vision was chosen to help focus the effort.
The true strength of social media came into play within the wave space of Google Wave. Mark and Tyler bumped into each other while editing the same wave. Mark gave Tyler his standard spiel about the value of connecting what we talk about online, and a more personalized web experience. Tyler took the concept and produced a deployable alpha version of the code. He fixed Mark’s “problematic” php, then made the great conceptual leap to use Amazon web services. Read more about it here.
